Roadside Attractions has debuted an official trailer for Miranda July's The Future, the quirky indie about a couple who decide to get a cat that premiered at Sundance to quite a bit of acclaim, including a glowing review from Ethan. The film has a very Charlie Kaufman feel to it and I'm sure anyone who watches this trailer will be saying "what the...?" half of the time. Yea, there's a talking cat, some weird meta interpersonal ideas and plenty more. Miranda July also stars as Sophie along with Hamish Linklater as her husband and it's quite a ride.
