Great news for Rian Johnson - his upcoming science fiction film Looper now has a home. Deadline & THR are reporting that Endgame Entertainment and FilmDistrict are partnering for the theatrical release. They will be releasing it in the US through Sony Pictures's TriStar, which sounds like it may actually get released by Sony proper and not the newly formed FilmDistrict. Looper is a time-travel action thriller that involves a killer (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who works for the mob of the future.
