What's He Up To? David Fincher Options Crime Novel 'Panic Attack'

It seems that director David Fincher is still keeping an eye on what's coming ahead, at least according Vulture (via The Film Stage). They're reporting that, through MRC, Fincher has optioned a "2009 macabre crime novel" titled Panic Attack written by Jason Starr (Amazon). Apparently screenwriter Ted Griffin (of films like Ocean's Eleven, Matchstick Men, Rumor Has It, "Terriers", Tower Heist) is set to adapt the book for Fincher, or at least start work on a script. But this is only one of many projects that Fincher has in the works at Media Rights Capital, where he secured a deal last year. Still, sounds like an intriguing project. ...
